2023 OVEB Planning Meeting
We enjoyed a nice working lunch at Bennett's Publical Family Sports Grill in Miamisburg while conducting our annual planning meeting. While enjoying good food and the fellowship T-Bird friends, we discussed and selected an official calendar of club activites for 2023.

Wheels of Time Museum - 10:30AM
The Wheels of Time Museum is located at 179 W. Crescentville Rd in Springdale Ohio. Exhibits include an 1830's house, vintage cars, antique telephone equipment and vintage gas pumps. Following our visit to the museum, we will have lunch at a nearby restaurant.

Fernald Preserve Visitors Center - Hamilton, OH
The Fernald Preserve Visitors Center is located at 7400 Willey Road, Hamilton, OH. The center commemorates the rich and varied history of the Fernald site. The visitors center offers a series of exhibits focused on the Cold War uranium metals production industry, the subsequent environmental cleanup and today's ongoing legacy management. The site's uranium production and environmental cleanup eras are placed within a broad historical perspective, acknowledging geologic history and the indigenous American Indians and Euro-American settlers who lived on the land. A seven-mile network of trails meanders through the Fernald Preserve. The trails range in length and difficulty. Admission to the visitors center is free.

Richardson Private Automobile Collection Tour
This is a rare opportunity to see one of the largest private auto collections in the Midwest. We'll start the day by viewing fully restored and rare automobiles located in Blue Ash, Ohio. After lunch, we'll travel to Washington Courthouse to view additional automobiles, motorcycles and boats in the collection. We'll also tour the onsite restoration facility. LaComedia Dinner Theatre - Jimmy Buffett's Escape to Margaritaville.
This fun and laid-back musical featuring the most loved hits from Jimmy Buffett encourages audiences to sit back, relax and remember that "It's Five O'Clock Somewhere." The LaComedia Dinner Theatre is located at 765 W Central Ave, Springboro, OH. The OVEB has reserved a group of tables directly in front of the stage. We'll enjoy dinner in the theatre before the show.

Joint Picnic with EBOH and Other Car Clubs at Lime Rock Farm - Milroy Indiana
The Columbe family has been hosting a huge picnic for multiple car clubs on their Lime Rock Farm in Rush County, Indiana for over twelve years. The Ohio Valley Early Birds have been invited to join the Early Birds of Hoosierland at this year's picnic. Other groups include: the Lincoln & Continental Owners Club, the Cadillac & LaSalle Club, the Indiana Region of the Classic Car Club of America, the Professional Car Society of Indiana, the Hoosier/Kentucky Racing Region of the Rolls Royce & Bentley Owners Club & the Vintage Thunderbird Club of Indiana.

Boxed lunches can be ordered in advance or guests are welcome to bring their own picnic food. In addition to admiring the scores of fine automobiles at the event, guests are also welcome to swim in the pool, fish in the lake or explore the property. The address for Columbe's Lime Rock Farm is 6722 W 900 S, Milroy, IN 46156. It is located just minutes from the historic Moscow covered bridge and about 75 minutes from Cincinnati.

Northern KY Bourbon Driving Tour

We'll gather at the popular Cabana on the River for an informal lunch. This will provide an excellent opportunity for those members attending the Thunderbird Reunion in Dearborn discuss the caravan route, potential attractions and other details in advance of the trip. International Thunderbird Club 2023 Thunderbird Reunion - Dearborn, Michigan
The International Thunderbird Club (ITC) sponsored "Thunderbird Reunion" is an event you will not want to miss! Members of ALL Thunderbird clubs and ALL years of Thunderbirds are welcome. This will be a unique opportunity to show off your T-Bird among numerous T-Birds from around the country. Ford Motor Company representatives are looking forward to seeing a record-breaking number of Thunderbirds in front of Ford World Headquarters.

The ITC-sponsored Welcome Party at the DoubleTree Hotel on Wednesday, August 23rd includes a full buffet meal. On Saturday, August 26th there will be a Ford Headquarters T-Bird show. On Saturday evening, ITC will host a banquet at the DoubleTree Hotel. During the remainder of the week, everyone is encouraged to explore the many automotive-related sites in the greater Detroit area. The host hotel is the DoubleTree by Hilton Detroit-Dearborn, 5801 Southfield Freeway, Detroit, MI. (313) 336-3340. The special T-Bird Reunion rate is $139 per night and includes a full buffet breakfast. You can book your discounted room(s) online using the link below. Green County Covered Bridges Tour
The 50 mile route from Xenia to Yellow Springs features five covered bridges. The two hour tour will conclude in Yellow Springs, OH, where we will stop for dinner and top it off with some ice cream at Young’s Jersey Dairy. Additional details to follow.

National Museum of the US Air Force - Dayton Ohio
Since 1923, the National Museum of the US Air Force has grown from a small collection to the world's largest military aviation museum. It is a world-renowned center for air and space power technology and culture preservation. The museum is home to countless one-of-a-kind objects. The once small engine collection now includes more than 350 aerospace vehicles and missiles, thousands of artifacts, and spans 20 indoor acres with additional outdoor air and memorial parks that continue to grow every year. October 8th
Spring Grove Cemetery Car Show
Spring Grove hosts one the largest car shows in the area. Models 1995 and older are welcome. There is no entry fee for spectators, but everyone is asked to bring a non-perishable food item to benefit the FreeStore Food Bank. Concessions will be available to purchase and mini tram tours will be available throughout the event. If you are attending as a spectator, there is no need to register. If you are bringing a car to show, you can register online beginning September 9th at NOON. The show will be held at the Spring Grove Funeral Home main location. CTCI Southeast Region 4 Touring Convention - October 25-29, 2023 - The Villages, FL
The Central Florida Classic Thunderbird Club (CFCTB) invites all CTCI members to "Florida's Friendliest Home Town" for the 2023 regional convention in The Villages. The host venue is the Brownwood Hotel, Spa and Convention Center. Adjacent to the hotel is the Brownwood Paddock Square. Planned events include nightly cruises through the Villages, dinner at a Wolfgang Puck restaurant and free live entertainment. Planned driving and coach tours include a visit to Ocala, Florida to visit the National Parts Depot collection of 200+ classic cars, The Don Garlit's Museum of Drag Racing and Early Ford collection and the Burnz Motors collection of fabulous resto rods. Interested CTCI members are encouraged to submit a completed preregistration form along with a $50 deposit. For more information, please view the pre-registration form.
